  Picked up a prescription. They charged me $30 for generic. Said they ran insurance. I paid $2.50 (same ins and everything else) in january. They said the ran it. I get home and called. He said "needs authorization". My problem: First gal said they ran insurance. They didn't. She didn't understand what I was asking. Because her english was horrible. (I'm not a racist by saying that). If you're working at a pharmacy you had BETTER be able to communicate. A lot is at stake Second guy said they didn't run insurance. I had to repeat myself like 8 or 10 times. He didn't understand as his english was horrible. Once again, another person who uses english as a second language. So first one gave me wrong information. Second one possible gave correct information. After telling me 8 or 10 times so I finally understood what he was saying. If you're going to dispense medication and answer questions, and in this case deal with insurance, KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH. I'm not racist. But when I deal with a pharmacy I want to understand what you are saying and you to understand what I'm saying. Total fail here. It was easier for me to pay more than 10 times the price for my meds ($30 vs $2.53) than to try and communicate with these people. And guess what- I'M NOT USING WALGREENS EVER AGAIN. THEY'RE JUST LIKE WAL-MART. Hire some english-speaking employees. Jesus
