  On a friends recommendation, I took a vintage gown that I wanted to wear for my wedding to her. This gown is over 40 years old, with sheer & lace layers, and was made for a woman a foot taller than me. She did an absolutely beautiful job, hemming the skirt and bodice at the waist seam, so I wouldn't lose any of the trim on the bottom of the skirt. She hemmed the sleeves and let out the bust as well -- all in FOUR DAYS for a very reasonable price. Her stitching is so perfect, and it fits so well, you would never know it was altered to so much ... absolutely amazing with such delicate fabrics!! This lady is magic!!
