  While the selection is smaller than petco or petsmart, and the prices a bit higher than amazon, the dog and cat products/food they do stock tend to be quality brands. They're significantly cleaner than the big box stores in North Anchorage - one of the first things I noticed when I came in with my puppy was the *absence* of fascinating discolored spots on the floor! The staff is helpful and professional, and have informed me of brand-specific promotions/rewards/savings for products I buy regularly. The store rewards program is also pretty nice - the last coupon covered several treats and chews that my dog really enjoyed.
